Lena has brought the same compassionate and healing touch to yoga that she honed over her 15 years massage therapy and reiki practice. Although her practice carried to the Netherlands, Australia, Austria, and many other places that she holds in her heart, she settled in Las Vegas. Where she found comfort in the natural beauty surrounding the city, and in her human/dog pack. Wanting to combine her massage and reiki practice with her love for yoga, she did her yoga training right here in Las Vegas in 2015.
A massage therapist for 11+ years, Jamie excelled at helping others manage their stress, but found herself so overworked she made herself sick. Finding that the gym and running weren’t for her, she started going to yoga and experienced an immediate and remarkable improvement in her health and how she felt in her own body. Anxious to help others experience similar shifts, she obtained her 200-hour teacher training in 2016. Her experience as a massage therapist and Reiki Master provides her with deep insight into body structures, alignment, and the body as a whole – physically, emotionally, and energetically. Her classical dance training influences her sequencing, which give her classes a fluid, flowy feel. You can expect an appreciation for alignment, some expression in the deep muscle groups, and adjustments that shed new light on old poses.
Angela Albuquerque started her journey into yoga over 8 years ago, following her love of movement after a long career as a professional dancer, dance instructor, and choreographer. She has been a certified Yoga instructor and Yoga educator (E-RYT 200, RYT-500, YACEP) for the past 5 years and brings with her more than 25 years of professional teaching experience in movement of the body. Angela graduated with a BA in Dance from UC Irvine and went on to choreograph and perform professionally for stage, film, and TV.
Along her own journey of physical movement and wellness, yoga has helped her grow stronger, more fearless, and has taught her to live each moment more mindfully, on and off the mat. She decided she wanted to bring all that she learned, her love of movement, the mind-body connection, and the amazing positive healing benefits to Everybody and Every Body, so she ventured out into the yoga teaching world. She received her SmartFLOW Yoga 200-hour certification in 2012 and 500-hour in 2016 with Annie Carpenter and has never looked back.
Angela is dedicated to providing a playful environment with the best possible yoga instruction for all ages, through creating a safe space, healthy alignment of the body, and finding that deep body-mind-breath connection, to help each student achieve a life of balance and wellness. Through her relaxed, open-hearted, authentic and joyful approach along with her background in the medical field, she encourages everyone to stretch the barriers of what they thought possible on their mats and ultimately in their lives. She allows each individual to find their own strengths (physically and mentally), a healthier body and mindset, an authentic practice and lifestyle, and most importantly a positive outlook and belief that you can achieve any goal and have an amazing journey while getting there!
Having been fascinated by natural health and spirituality since an early age, Vanessa has chosen a life to study and share this wisdom to help you navigate your inner and outer world.
Vanessa began working with Empath Judi Garcia at age 19, along with practicing yoga, developing her own herbal potions, and connecting with oracle cards – embarking on her lifetime quest to understand herself and to touch the lives of others. In January of 2003 the company Vanessa was working for began to close, so she took the opportunity to move to San Diego, where she enrolled in the Holistic Health Practitioner program at Body Mind College.
Since then Vanessa has embraced her purpose as a healer and messenger of love for the physical, mental, and emotional Selves. She began her new journey as a Massage Therapist at the Aquae Sulis Spa in the JW Marriott Las Vegas in April of 2005, then shortly after opened her own practice. With an unwavering commitment to add to her repertoire and build on her professional experience, Vanessa is continually learning and improving her practice. She has pursued advanced training in Ayurvedic Health, Sivananda Yoga training, Shamanism, Integrative Herbology, Ayurvedic Aromatherapy, and other forms of healing and bodywork.
Vanessa has been blessed to have studied and worked with many amazing teachers across the last two decades. She specializes in her own personal interests to give you a unique experience understanding that you are unique in who you are. Her most recent training was a 3 month journey with Cacao and how to use it ceremonially that she completed in December 2017. Currently Vanessa is studying through Dharma Ocean Center to deepen her knowledge with the breath and how we can use it to heal.
As an enthusiastic advocate and practitioner of Shamanism & Ayurveda, Vanessa has been able to gain a deeper understanding of her studies, herself, life, energy, and our connection to spirit. She feels that the elements are how we understand life, and the senses are how we enjoy and experience it. She actualizes her philosophy through her work and does so with refreshing honesty, light-heartedness, and compassion, which stem from her own journey of growth and connection to Self.
Vanessa’s goal is to share with you the ancient tools that she has practiced and studied while bringing them into present day and assisting you in unfolding the Love, Truth, and Wisdom inside of you that is waiting to be expressed. She is here to hold space for you while you unravel the truth within that is rising to the surface to be healed.
You deserve to feel more at peace with the truth of who you are– living a life with more Self Love, Awareness and Compassion. The skills she has acquired over years of practice and study provide a nurturing and safe way for you to unravel into the truth of who you are, being free and true in your Self-Expression.

Sarah Garcia is a 200 RYT graduate of Z Flow Power Yoga. She began her yoga journey here in Las Vegas about 8 years ago. Seeing the amazing benefits of what stillness and acceptance could bring on her own mat, Sarah decided to take the leap in 2016 and become a yoga instructor. She now teaches at studios and also enjoys empowering vulnerable populations such as first responders, special needs children, foster youth, and so on through community yoga classes.
Some of the extra training experience that Sarah has includes Trauma Recovery Yoga training, Hands on Assist certification, Yoga Gangster training, Asanas for Autism and Special Needs training, and more. Sarah seeks to inspire her students both on and off of the mat with power, passion, and persistence. You will notice her connective messages that call you back to your own power, breath, and movement. She is thrilled to share her heart and light with you all at Galaxy Pilates.
